I'm curious about this too. I read somewhere a few months ago that they were going from the bedspreads to the white comforters w/duvet. Its certainly not a make-or-break for me, but I am partial to white comforters. Don't exactly know why . . .

None of the DVCs were changing to the duvet. BLT already has the duvet. But I think all the DVCs were changing to triple sheeting. And I don't know about AKV. Haven't stayed there. Just trying to clarify what you were wondering about.

I see what you mean. I thought the white was a comforter, but I see now that they are the top sheet. Either way, I like it!

Triple sheeting is good. Just as long as we don't have the scuzzy comforter

That is my hope, as well. We just remove the comforter, but it would be nice not to have it balled up in the closet for the duration of our stay.

I think it's great news that AKV is switching to white triple sheeting! I didn't know this but now I'm excited!

I hate the tacky bedspreads that most of the Disney resorts have. We had white triple sheeting at CSR (pr it may have been an actual duvet & white duvet cover, I can't remember) and that was one reason I chose that resort over the others.

It was a huge drawback when I saw AKV's ugly bedspreads...but the rest of the rooms looked nice and not too tacky so I figured I'd just live with it, but it looks like I won't have to suffer in the ugly bedspreads for my Oct/Nov 2014 trip! That will give them plenty of time to replace them all. Haha!

I LOVE the AKL bedspreads, we just booked our first trip there for May 2014, DVC Villa @ Jambo and we are SO looking forward to the bedspreads, I really hope they are still there !

I couldn't agree more. I can't wait for every hotel to get rid of the ugly bedspreads!
