Bed rails

I am a little worried about my 5 year old daughter sleeping in the top bunk. My younger daughter will be in the sofa bed. The pictures of the top bunk for the Fantasy shows one bed rail. It does not look that long. Can you request additional rails? Some how she finds a way to fall out of her full sized bed at home with two long rails. I am wanting a deluxe family ocean view room, but the sailing we are looking at only has guaranteed rooms now. So I won't be able to select a sleeps five room with the Murphy bed from the wall.

Somewhere I saw that you can request bed rails for children up to 12 years, just tried to find it but don't know where I read that. Also don't know if this can be added to the bunk bed or is just for the other beds. What I sometimes do is putting some books (if you bring them, this tall, thin picture books) between the mattress and the bed so the children 'feel' that there is something and hopefully won't roll further. Depending on how far you can stick the books in this works very well but if a child sits up or pushes with a lot of weight to it it won't hold of course so don't trust this method!

Yes you can request an additional bedrail. We have done it many times. It is a mesh one like we have used at home. Once they told us it doesn't work for the top bunk but we asked for him to bring it anyway and we just put it on. He then said he knows what we meant after seeing it on and he did it the other nights.
Another option is to put the top bunk mattress on the floor. We have done that too (before we knew about the additional bedrail) and it worked fine.

Another option is if your kids are younger, they could sleep on opposite ends of the sofa bed. It is pretty long and I think they could set up pillows at both ends.
