A little help, pls!
Our crew will be staying at VWL in a few weeks. We will have 4 adults and 4 kids -- (a 7, a 6, and two 2's). SOme questions:
(1) Are bed rails available? I think I saw another thread mention them -- I know the porta-cribs are in the room, but I think our 2 yr olds will be too big for those. Bed rails would be wonderful. I considered even making a floor palette for one child, but a bed would be so much nicer for 10 days....Do you have to reserve rails ahead of time, or ask @ check-in? We will probably need at LEAST 2 rails, maybe 3...
(2) Isn't 4 pm a hard-fast rule? I see some folks mentioning trying to check-in early. I always thought 4 pm was the "Law". (Or at least, they always enforced it that way at OKW...) Has anybody ever gotten in early?
(3) At OKW, you drive almost right up to your door. DH is not liking the concept of hauling all our crap for ten days through elevators and hallways, but he likes even LESS the idea of a "bellhop" (or whatever they are called). How do you manage your luggage, groceries and such when staying at VWL or BWV? IS it the nightmare we are imagining?
Lastly -- do you check in down at VWL, in its lobby? Or do you do it back up at the WL Main Lodge?
Thanks in advance---
Cindy
