Bed Question for All Resorts

Have any of you ever taken a can of Lysol to spray the beds down? I am not saying I think the linens themselves are dirty, but I read something a long time ago about hotel beds in general and the stuff living in them, LOL. Now that I have a baby I am thinking of taking Lysol and spraying everything down before we sleep on it (letting it air out first, of course). If it were just us, we wouldn't care at all 'cuz we are slobs on vacation, hee hee! Any thoughts?

I take antibacterial wipes and wipe down every drawer pull, toilet lever, knob, remote control, light switch, etc. I wipe any surface that we touch. I also don't sit on bed spreads and ask for an extra flat sheet to put on top of the blanket. Also I wear slippers in the room. If you've seen the 20/20 exposes on hotel rooms, even good ones, you will completely understand! Since I've been doing this for the last 5 years, we no longer come home from vacation with a cold.

Last time, I had heard somethething about bed bugs. I FREAKED. Needless to say , I brought my own pillowcases, lysol, and clorox wipes. I didn't have any problems
