Does anyone have any experience with this--

Can I order online, have the item shipped to the store and then pay using a 20% off coupon?

Or do I have to pay at the time of purchase?

I have not done this so I don't know but I do know you can order at the store, use your coupon and have it shipped to your home for free. Not really sure why you are ordering online so can't say if this will help you. The coupons does say in store only. IF they don't have the item you want online in the store then they will apply the coupon and send item to you free of charge. Hope this makes sense and helps in some way!

I personally have gotten multiple coupons good online only.

I think she was talking about the 20% off coupons that they send ad-nausea in the mail. Those don't have any codes that I can find. But if you know where she can find codes that work online please post!! That would be the easiest! :cool1:

I ordered an item in the store, applied the 20% off coupon, and it was shipped to my home.

Thanks Guys!! I will order in the store then.

I'm looking at a new Kitchen Aid with lots of attachments and the stores don't always carry what I'm looking for. So ordering works better.

thanks for the advice.

I get my online ones from emails from b+by

My BBB told me that if you ship to store, they will not apply the 20% coupon that is often in your account/cart online. They often pull the stuff aside for you, you go get the items from Customer Svc, and they check you out at the store. Therefore, if you have a physical coupon, they will apply it for you at pick up because that's when you actually pay. If you happen to pay ahead of time, they can return and re-ring you when you pick up.

The other thing I've done is order something off the website from within a store, and they applied my physical coupon. I've never had them log into my account to apply an online virtual coupon to my order, which I do not think they are able to do anyway.

HTH!

If you can wait a day or two to order then sign up for coupons by text from them. I get them every week and each coupon is good both online and in the store. It takes a couple of days to get the first coupon though.

How do I sign up for text coupons? Is there a link on their website or a number I'm supposed to text a particular word to?

Thanks for this tip!

If you go to facebook search for Bed Bath & Beyond at the top of their page is a link for promotions. Click on it and then sign up to get e-mail offers and at the bottom add your cell phone number and click the box to elect to get texts with coupons. I get them once a week. Usually on a Tuesday or Wednesday. They also send reminders if you don't use the coupon.

Are you talking about the 20% coupon good in store only?

Cliff Notes version; The answer is yes..

You enter the credit card online to hold the product only. You still have to present a credit card when you get to the store. That's when you buy the item. And when the 20% coupon is applied.

Non Cliff Notes version (and my experience): DD26 lives in Louisiana, so she couldn't make it home for DD25's bridal shower earlier this month. DD26 ordered a Rhoomba for the shower, and had it shipped to the BB&B store near my home. I would pick it up and apply my 20% coupon to the item.

Here lies the problem. DD26 thought her credit card would pay off the item. Nope. And my CC was almost maxed out.

Fortunately, I was able to call DD26 from the BB&B customer service desk. She gave her credit card number to the cashier and that (along with the 205 off coupon) sealed the deal. Rhoomba was bought using DD26's credit card and my 20% off coupon.

thanks again for all of the updated advice!

and yep, LadyBeBop- it would be my card so all would be good!

I ordered an item online and was able to use a $5/$15 in store coupon when I picked up today; YMMV.
