A Few Last Things!
So I guess this will be my last update for awhile - we return from Disney on Sept. 12, so I probably won't be posting til after that! But here are a few last minute things I put together:
Escort Cards
I finally finished all of the little books I was using for escort cards! I'm pretty happy with them.
Candy Buffet!
We also have everything ready to go for the candy buffet! I didn't take the candy out of the bags yet or everything, but here's a pic of the jars and some of the candy set up on my dining room table. Sorry it's a little crowded and hard to see:
Other Stuff
So we dropped off all the decorations and everything at the reception hall. I think they were a little overwhelmed by all the different centerpieces at first but I left pictures and really clear instructions of everything and how it should look so I think it will be okay.
Jason picked up his tux today! He says it looks good. My brother also got his a few days ago, I went with him and got to see it, I'm pleased with how they look. 3 more groomsmen to go
And I am excited because I had a "breakthrough" with my earrings! I don't know if you remember but I had posted before that I can't wear earrings because my ears get infected whenever I try. I really wanted to wear earrings but it's not worth the pain, and all the clip ons I looked at weren't very attractive. So my dad came up with the idea to cut the posts off of a pair of earrings and use really small magnets to hold them on. We tried it, and it actually worked! I wore them for about two hours today without any problem. I even shook my head all around and made sure they were on there good! And they are the earrings that came with the necklace I got so I actually get to wear the matching set
Other than that, I really just wish it was Saturday already. Or at least Thursday night, because that's when all of the "activities" begin. I will feel good to go out for the Bachelorette party, be pampered a little on Friday, and have the rehearsal and dinner. Right now it's just stress, stress, stress, trying to get all of the little wedding things done, not to mention finish packing up everything I own. There are some moments where I wish we weren't have a big wedding at all (and we've got under 100 people, but sometimes I wish we'd just done Disney with 25!). It's a lot of pressure, and I feel like certain people are being really judgmental of all of my choices for everything, from centerpieces to song selections to colors. Not to rant, but all of this stuff has been planned for awhile - and you're complaining about it now? I'm just hoping everyone will be satisfied and not thinking about all the little stuff on the day.
And fingers crossed for good weather!
