I'd wear the ballet slipper to church even!

Oh yeah - the Crocs rep (on the phone) was saying they were looking at a deal with Disney! Might even have Mickey shaped holes on top! TOOO cute!!!!

They are cute! But then again, I'm one of the only people who don't think the Beach's are that ugly, apparently. I have one pair and already I'm addicted. :cloud9:

Amanda - I love my Crocs (Cayman) but I'll be the first to admit they are not an attractive shoe. But it's all about comfort for me! Clinton and Stacy (What Not To Wear) would HATE me! :rotfl:

My mother just bought a pair of the Mary Janes today at the mall. I had never seen them before--they are pretty cute.

Okay I'm so glad you posted this thread! I have a question about the New Athens sandals. Has anyone worn them at Disney while walking all day? I just wonder how they equal up in support with regular athletic shoes. I would love to have a few pair but if they aren't going to give me support at Disney I don't want to.

Can anyone give me any advice?

Everytime I watch What Not To Wear I think of my Crocs, and how much they'd hate me! Unfortunately, my bubblegum pink Crocs aren't my worst offense, I'm sure of that! :rotfl:

I think I have Athens...but I'm not hip on the Crocs styles. (Ok, I'm pretty much not hip at all, but that's another thread.) For me, they were comfy around Disney, but I'd say that if you need more support, they're probably not the best thing. I think I'm suffering with plantar fascitis these days and I don't think I'd be able to wear them walking around Disney all day myself because there just isn't anough solid support in them.

I like the new styles. May need to take a look at those.

Are the Athens the flip flops? I've heard they have the same 'feel' as the regular Crocs. Personally, I could never tolerate the strap between my toes, so I won't even think about trying them.

I have plantar fasciatis and, while my feet did still hurt after all the WDW walking, it was nothing compared to previous trips! DH, who is a die hard tennis shoe person, also said his feet felt so much better this trip. (and, sadly, we are both larger than our previous trips, so we had added weight on our feet, yet our feet hurt less.)

Tinkerbell_Girl - I don't know about the comfort level for the Prima Ballet for WDW walking. They don't look like the sole is as thick, but then neither does the Athens and people like those. I guess we'll have to wait until we get Crocs Trip Reports on the new ballet slipper style to know.

Little frustrated - just went back to Bloomies site and they only have silver in the ballet slipper. :sad2: I want/need plain black. Guess I'll just have to check every so often to see if I can catch a black pair.

I just went to the website and realized that I have Aspen, not Athens. See...told you I was clueless.

I saw that too. :sad2: I want the black ones too.

Bloomingdales lists the Prima Ballet at $30

Journeys.com lists the Mary Jane at $34.99

Called Crocs again to get more info on these - they should be available on Crocs website this fall. Right now they have exclusive contracts with Dillards and Bloomingdales (Prima Ballet) and Journeys.com and Nordstroms (Mary Jane). I couldn't find the shoes on the other 2 websites, so I am assuming they only carry them in stores :confused3

Just checked out their web site and lookie Relief

Shock absorbing sole relieves stress on feet, knees, hips and lower back; roomy fore foot provides comfortable fit with no pressure points, relieving bunions and other foot irregularities; anatomically designed sole provides comfortable relief from plantar fasciitis, heel bruises and other plantar injuries; side air portals keep feet cool and dry; style will accommodate an orthotic

I have a heal spur and DW trips just about cripple me for months after. So I have been looking for a better shoe but thought the Crocs didn't have enough heal and arch support...maybe this will work! I dont think I will be able to get them in Canada though..they just have Aspen/Niles and saw Scutes for the 1st time yesterday (they had 3 pairs left)

Question for Croc wearers...I am an 8 1/2.

The 8's my 2 little toes next to the baby seem to be peeking through the holes..with the 9's there is a lot of extra room all over the shoe

What do you suggest, because I am really tempted to order the Reliefs on-line.
