I wasnt able to ride forbidden journey. What other rides might pose a problem? In both parks I hate the embarrassment. Thanks

Sorry to hear you couldn't ride FJ. There are test seats for the coasters so make sure you try them out before entering the queue and don't be embarrassed...that's why the seats are there. Ripsaw Falls might be an issue because of the ride vehicles. You shouldn't have a problem with anything else I can think of.

Rip Saw Falls is for sure out. I can fit on FJ and I was able to get into the boat at Rip Saw Falls, but getting out is a whole different story! Why in the world they added those lap bars without removing any seats I will never know but they took one of my favorite rides in the park and ruined it. I will never ride it again because I was scared that I was going to be stuck in the boat forever just always going around with a whole new family for the life of the ride :lmao:

Ripsaw Falls, The Hulk, Dragon Challenge. The last 2 have test seats outside the ride. They both a large and regular seat to try.

What about seats at universal? ET etc. In 37 trips to wdw we have never been to universal. We are thinking of doing the 1day 2park pass as we have already been to wwohp 2x. Any hints on attack? Thanks again:wave2:

Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit and Revenge of the Mummy have test seats out front :)

ET doesn't have seating restrictions. Really only Rip Ride Rockit and Mummy would. Everyone should be able to fit in everything else.

We just returned, and I could not fit on the Hulk, even a modified seat, nor could I fit on Ripsaw Falls or Dragon Challenge. I did not test Rip Ride Rockit, but my DD rode it a few times and said she didn't think I would have fit on it, she is much smaller than me and she had some trouble with the thigh area.

I was able to make it on FJ for our first day, I was wearing thin cotton parachute-type capris. My second try was our last day, and I couldn't get the second click on the test seat - but I was wearing jean capris, I think it made a difference. I may have been able to make it on the ride itself, if I made sure to scoot all the way back in the seat, but it was a tight fit the first day and I didn't want to take a chance. I was psyched I made it at all, lol, didn't want to ruin the moment.;)

Rode Mummy without issue, Flight of the Hippogriff (DD and I were seated in our own separate cars, we had to ask). Oh - on Bilge Rate Barges, I had some trouble with the seat belt, and the TM pointed out there is at least one seat in the boat with an extended belt (I think it was red). I used it without problems.

No issues with Men in Black or Spiderman, I did have a problem with the Simpsons ride but not due to my weight. (jerky, so I had to hold my neck throughout) I didn't make it to ET this trip, so I have no input there.

For reference, I wear a size 26/28 pants and 24/26 shirt, with most of my weight in my hips and thighs. Good luck, I hope you are able to ride most of the rides!:goodvibes

I can sooo relate! I didn't even ride, but attempting the test seat was scary - I was able to get in, but getting out made me nervous. Not to mention, I felt like my bad knee got folded up to my chin when I entered the log.
