Hey all you beavertail fans! Just wanted to let you know that we found out the hard way that the beavertail kiosk is not opening until 3:00 pm lately. I don't know if this has always been the case.
It's a long story, but we ended up staying an extra day in Orlando. Gave DD her choice of what to do on our "free" day.She is an obnoxiously picky eater, and fell in love with beavertails this trip, so she chose the World Showcase so she could get another beavertail. After doing some FutureWorld stuff, we hustled over to Canada and were dismayed to see the kiosk hadn't opened! We waited for awhile, thinking it just hadn't gotten opened yet. After about 10 minutes we asked the CM at the Canada souvenir kiosk right next to it when they would be opening--he said not til 3:00!!! He said people ask him all day long every day, and he can't figure out why they don't open it earlier, and that he tells his supervisor all the time!
anyway, we were really surprised since the pastries are SO popular, and the CM agreed.
We went on to see Pooh and EEyore at the UK and had a fabulous lunch (chicken platter) at Tangierine Cafe (which didn't open until 12) and DD got to feed and pet a squirrel there while we
waited-a highlight for her.
