Beaver Tails???

Yeah, probably because "the guests demanded it", no doubt. :rolleyes1

I remember them, and I thought they were tasty. Maybe they were full of trans fats or something.

We always ordered one with chocolate and maple ... and once Jay and I finished sharing it one of us would turn to the other and say, "I think I'm diabetic now."

So sugary ... so laden with calories ... so good.

I think the Beaver Tails were removed because they obviously weren't truly representative of the Canadian diet. Disney tries to be as accurate as possible and certainly wouldn't want its guests partaking of a snack in Canada that isn't really Canadian. That has to be the reason that the Beaver Tail cart was replaced with a popcorn cart.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Yes-but the Poster from Toronto (where I live) says to come up and get them here? But where? I have never laid eyes on them?!?!?!:confused3

Beaver Tails are soooo Canadian, well if you are from the Ottawa region at least. ;) One of my favourite childhood memories is going skating on the Rideau Canal and enjoying a yummy beaver tail on a cold day. When I have lived in other parts of Canada I ran across many people who had no idea what a beaver tail even was.

They do have stands that sell them year round but there is just something about eating them outside on a cold winter day that makes them even more delicious!

If you like the Beaver Tails visit us up here in Toronto. Our dollar is tanking again so you can get a fantastic deal and buy all the Beaver Tails you can eat.:rotfl2:

LOL You are bad... ;)

You are Canadian and have never had one! :scared1: ;)

I am certain the CNE sells them and I am certain some street vendors in TO.. I am on the west coast so I can't tell you where specifically to get them out there.

These are a Canadian tradition :) Very popular at events, fairs, Canada Day Parties etc...

I'm just waiting for the poutine stand to open. Now there's a truly Canadian treat and much more delicious than Beavertails.
