Hi everyone!

I've been a lurker here for the past year, but now that I'm planning a Disney Themed Wedding of my own, I thought it was time to post! (I'm hoping to make my signiture and profile all pretty later tonight :) ).

I'm not getting married at WDW, even though I would love to!! But my DH2B and I are having a Beauty & the Beast Theme: his mother thinks it's wonderful because when he was younger she always called him her "wildebeast"!!

We're getting married on May 27th, 2006--and I CAN'T WAIT!!! :jumping1:

If anyone has any advice on cute things we could do, or places to get B&TB wedding stuff, I'd love the advice!

Thanks!!

congrats on your upcomind weding, i'm off to disney to get married in 10 days so i'll keep an eye out for any B&TB wedding stuff for you. i'll pm you if i find any!
congrats
karen

Congratulations on your engagement! You are getting married two days after me, go Memorial wknd brides!!

For a short period I contemplated having a disney them for each of our reception guest tables. For the BATB, we were going to find a glass dome and place a rose standing in it. We were also going to try and find a pretty antique mirror to place next to the rose dome as well. Some other idea, would be at the reception, to place a couple of books (could even find a hardback non-covered book of BATB) and a cute cup and saucer and such and place on the cake table or guestbook table. There are lots of options!

Good luck!

HI! COngratulations and welcome! I too am having a slight B&B theme! When I was in wdw a couple of months ago I UNFORTUNATELY :confused3 did not see any B&B wedding things. That does not mean there aren't things you could do. Here are some things I am doing:

1. first our main floral theme will be red roses

2. We are having a french flair to our meals and beverages

3. Our table will be B&B charactres (lumiere, Belle and Prince,Mrs. Potts etc)

3. I am creating the rose in the dome and placing it on the book signing table (when I do this i will post pics....but it won't be until after the holidays

4. We are using candelabras w/red roses as our centerpieces

5. Our colors are red with gold accents

6. first course will be served to "be our geust"

Hmmm that's just a few do not want to bore you. This is a good link for inspiration as impressions has quite a few B&B themed thing http://fairytalewedding.ibuilder.co...=E3&Document=Beauty+and+the+Beast&DesignNo=1& Good luck! :sunny:

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!!

My bf once bought me the rose in the glass jar from B&B at the crystal shop in disneyland (they're available other places too...), I always thought it would make a lovely cake topper if I was using B&B as my theme. I can search for it online if it sounds like something you'd be interested in :earsgirl:

Thank you so much everyone!
Our colors are Blue and Gold--I can't believe that I didn't think of having A rose under glass. That's a great idea.

I also love the idea of having candleabras as centerpieces--this would go great with the blue&gold theme (we actually both graduated from the University of Notre Dame, so those are our school colors too) and the decorations of the hotel we're having the reception at (it's decorated like an old European castle).

My Mother also said she found some Lenox figurines of Belle and the Beast that she wants to buy for us to use as cake toppers.

Yayyy! Another End of May Bride...Congrats! We are doing a Disney Movie Theme, Beauty & The Beast will be one of our table names along with lady & the Tramp, 101 Dalmations , The Little Mermaid, and Cinderella. Good luck I will keep my eye out!

Yes the lenox figurines are gorgeous...I am thinking of putting a few of them on my cake table! They also make a beautiful cased rose figurine!

Congrats on the engagement!!! I'm also getting married on May 27th!! Should be a great day!!

Giddygirl...yep, way to go for not only Memorial Weekend brides  :cool1: , but also Alabama brides!! I see you're from Hunstville, I'm from B'ham, but now live in South Bama!!!

With all of these memorial weekend brides from Alabama, I just thought I should mention....My father used to be stationed outside of Dothan, AL!!

How funny! :wave2:
