Beauty and The Beast Sing-A-Long gone?

Hey all!

I was at Epcot with my wife last week and we went to France to see the Beauty and the Beast Sing-A-Long, but instead they were showing a movie about France. It was kind of like "Canada Far and Wide", except instead of being new and super high quality it was very old and not great

EDIT: I was there just before park close

Just wondering if this was temporary or what!

Usually Impressions de France plays in the early morning and evening. Beauty and the Beast plays during other times.

What you saw is what has played there for many many years (1982) and is not something new & temporary. Beauty and the Beast was only added in 2020 - I suppose to fill the theater all day long by attracting young families. What it meant for us ... we now skip it unless we happen by when France is playing.

Beauty and the Beast sing-a-long is still there as is Impressions de France.

The movie picture is old, but the music is timeless. I always enjoy relaxing and listening to Debussy and Saint-Saens. You couldn't pay me to go to the B&tB sing along!

IdF is one fo the reasons we went to France for our honeymoon in 1996. It’s a dated movie but remains timeless for us. The music is, as others have said, timeless regardless of the film. We always find a way to see it even when BBSA takes center time stage.
