Beauty and the Beast musical

I just had to post this because I am so excited! The theater group that I'm involved with in Reading, PA has just posted their season schedule for next year. We are hoping to do "Disney's Beauty and the Beast" next August!!
I can't wait to be involved with that. I write "hoping to do" because we are so broke that I don't know if we'll make it that far. This summer is "The Secret Garden"-that's a great show, too. Just a little news from me-thanks for listening!

What is the cost for "rights" for a show like that?

Monkeyboy-LOL! That's exactly what I thought when I saw that we were doing it. I don't ask but it's got to be alot. Our group has been the first one in the country to produce other shows after they leave Broadway but never one this big. I was thinking that the costumes have to phenomenal, too! I know that we have spent $10k on costumes for other shows before. What's the price for a costume of Lumiere-he he?
