Beautiful pictures-now how do I frame them?

I purchased one of the package deals from Shutters on our 11/18/01 cruise. I got several 6x8's and would love to display them on a wall with other Disney memorabilia. Does anyone know where I can find this size frame? Am I going to be forced to buy 8x10 frames and mat the pictures?

Maybe you could crop them down to a 5x7 size??
Or custom framing.

Ritz Camera Shops carry the 6 X 8 photo frames. They have nice colors and display real nice on the wall. Try there.

I think the pictures are 8x10. I too thought they were 6x8. I would measure them before buying the frames.

Believe me, we have been on 2 cruises and the small pictures that cost you $9.95 are the 6 X 8 size pictures and the large pictures that cost you $19.95 are the 8 X 10 size pictures. But the frames you can buy at Ritz Camera shops at any mall that they are in.

Any custom frame shop will be able to do your pictures in a grouping just pick out the ones you want in one frame. You will have to pick out the mat color you want and the frame and they will take it from there. You could do one large one in the center and the others around that one or if you have good pictures you took yourself that you would want to include in the picture they can do that too it doesn't matter about the size on the photo, any size opening can be cut. Having done this for 20 yrs. I have seen alot of different things put together in a frame. I still haven't done my own pictures from June but I will eventually get around to doing them!!

Take it from an old photographer, the 6X8 is an odd size What we do is crop them down to 5X7 by trimming 1/2" all the way around. We use my wife's scrapbooking paper trimmer for this. A lot cheaper than custom frames or matting.
Just our way of handeling it.

Thanks ruvidu and legs22! I just measured the actual picture area and I will be able to crop them to 5x7's. I don't know why I didn't check that before now. ruvidu, my daughter scrapbooks and has one of those paper trimmers. I'll just have to borrow that to be accurate.
