Hello! I just came back from my hair trial from Janet at On Site Beauty. I do have to say that she was very professional and I am very happy with the outcome. I have heard good things about both companies, though.
Hope this helps. GL! :wizard:

Does she have a website where I can see some of her work????:)

I'm also going through the decision making process. My wedding is only 3 1/2 months away, and I won't be able to do a trial either. I've tried to get quotes from most of the Disney recommended places, but I'm just not sure what to choose. Your help would be appreciated. I'm looking at Makeover Majic or BeauteSpeciale.

Ok... here is the website for on site beauty
http://onsitebeauty.com/

All of her prices are on the website, but she charges $150 for bridal hair and makeup ($125 if you are having attendants do their hair too). Attendants are $95-$105 for both or $55 for hair (i think).

I don't have the prices for beatuespeciale , but I do have an email address where you can get in touch with them. PM me if you need that!

The last person I considered was Lisa from Lisa's Magical Weddings. Her website is http://www.lisasmagicalweddings.com/
She was charging $80 for hair and $65 for makeup.

Some people had "short hair" discounts, but I have long hair, so I did not inquire about that. Well, that's about all I have to offer in the hair/makeup department. I have my specific opinions about some of these people, but you can read about that in other threads. ;)

Hope this helps!

I'm always wary of looking at galleries on websites - these are usually examples of their best work or models here in the UK - perhaps we could start to post our own pictures on here for other brides to see, that way we would get a real feel for the work that each company does! I know choosing a beautician/hairdresser thousands of miles from home is worrying for me!

I am soooo nervous about this decision b/c I am picky about my make up...I am so afraid I'm going to hire someone and I'm gonna look awful!

Here is the price list for Beaute Speciale as of January 2007

Hair Services:
$65 Hair
$50 Short Hair and for children under 12 years old

Make Up Services:
$50 Make Up
$75 for Airbrush Make-up.
$30 Eyes Only
$10 For Pair of Eye Lashes

Hopefully that helps :)

Don't stress too much. You will look absolutely beautiful that day. It doesn't matter if you wear a potato sack with curlers in your hair. You would still be a beautiful bride. princess:

PrincessBride, that is such a lovely way to think! :) :) :)

For me, however, I know that my photos are going to be around the house and the thought of having to stare at pictures of me is bad enough, without having to stare at photos of me with awful makeup and bad hair! :( I am terrified!!!!!
