It's been a long, hot summer here. How about some pictures of cold weather?

All of the above were taken when I was still in Massachusetts. I, for one, can't wait for winter now. Gotta love those chilly temps we get in December of around 80 or so. :p

And one for the Patriots' fans. Not mine but I just love it! :thumbsup2

Waking up to that less than 12 hours after the plane landed from our WDW vacation last spring.

It was snowing so much that the auto focus kept focusing on the snow flakes. Picture taken with 50mm f/1.8 Mark I on Canon 20D.

Just got off the phone with Mom and Dad.

Here, it's 98, feels like 108 for the seems-to-be millionth day in a row.

There, they are sitting out on the deck and it's 68 degrees. Of course, it was 45 when they got up this morning.

Man, I just live in the WRONG place.

Anyway, here are some pics from Christmas with them. here, you can't tell one season from the next anyway. . .

I was at that game!! Teddi Bruschi intercepted the ball at the Dolphins 5 and ran it back for the TD. Place went NUTS! We couldn't sit in our seats because they were loaded with snow. I was kicking myself for not bringing in my P&S digital camera after we started throwing the snow up in the air. It was the first game in a while where I didn't bring a small camera. Figures! :sad2:

The storm arrived two days after my brand new Pentax *ist. I couldn't resist taking some pictures -- but was terrified of ruining it! This is outside our apartment building in Queens. Big freakin' flakes!

And here, from a safer place, looking out into our courtyard thru a window...(in black and white!)

who has a long hot summer??? We have had sweatshirts on to go outside for over a week now and long pants. There will be light jackets worn on the first day of school for the first time in a long time. It hasn't gotten above a very cold 65 here for like 10 days now!! Send me some sun!!!

We're still in the mid '90s every day here. It is so humid that even when we were at the park at 7:00PM last night it was terribly uncomfortable. We've still got about three to five weeks before it gets comfortable outside at any time of the day.

not cold but cooler( actually kind of like today :sad2: since i know what's coming in a month) can't get this bigger for some reason

These photos are from Feb 2003 - the LAST snowstorm I experienced while living in PA. It was during that storm that I said to self - "Self - you are NEVER shoveling snow again" - One month later I was on vacation in Orlando, and three months after that I had moved here!

This last picture was on 12/22/2005 - DD and I went on a Wishes Cruise - and BOY was it COLD that night. I actually had to buy a pair of gloves! I think that night I was colder than any night since we have moved here!
