Bear Rug Going Away?

By popular demand the Bear Rug is back and on sale in Frontierland now! Hurry before it goes back into hibernation!

Did they not say that once the bear rug was voted as "CUTE" it would remain for sale permanently and that if it was voted as "BOOT" it would be in hibernation for good? I am just curious if I was the only one to reconize this difference or if I am completely off on this.

i know i saw that and it kind of annoyed me! i hate it when they pull crap like that. now i must stop production on my water ride and buy a bunch of the rugs.... i'm just worried they will be gone by the end of the weekend. i hope not!

When we all voted for the bear,in the newsletter it said(,not exact):
You decide whether the bear gets a pernament home in VMK or goes into hibernation.

Today,I saw(on the awesome new homepage)get your bear rug before it goes into hibernation. Anyone else confused?

But yes, I discovered that as well! If you think about it they lied and that could has swayed votes. Some people may not have wanted it to be there for good and voted BOOT.

I voted boot to make it go rare. Meaning that it would be around for awhile, and eventually get booted from the game.

I thought cute meant it stays in shops forever.

So basically, no matter what I voted, I'm getting my way LOL!!!

I know, I dont want to spend my credits (that im saving up for when new rooms and magic comes out), on the bear rug, I thought it was going to stay there forever so I didnt bother buying it.

I don't remember VMK saying that the bear rug would be out "permanently". In fact, I stocked up thinking it would be gone after last weekend!

i have to agree with jkmj bc most things that are random go away. they brought it back for a bit longer though so u can stock up on them. but why would u need so many bear rugs any way? if u have one or what ever amount may be, u should already have enough.

The words vmk used was "permanently". I wish I could have a full quote for you but I didn't save it considering I didn't think it would be necessary.

That's what I thought, too! If I knew it wasn't permanent, I wouldn't have cared. I just didn't think something like that belonged permantly, for many reasons.

Ok First ( Not aiming this at anyone here on the wonderful dis boards ) I think that the peope who voted cute for the reason of animals rights have banned together and have written the VMK Folks enough to make the bear rug go away from permanent sale. However on my second thought it is in the specials catagory which is subject to disappear at any time. However if im not mistaken wasnt the bear rug being voted on before it was for sale?? If i am correct in this then they did not lie they released it as said and did not make it disappear before we coud buy it. So technically VMK did make it a permanent collectible, it will permanintly be in my rooms
