Beaded Lanyards!

Hi there! I am working on ID Badge/Vacation lanyards now! What do you think?

This is for a nurse, she ordered some holiday ones.

This one is for October!

On these lanyards I have made a few for vacationers to put their KTTWC in and i just add a plastic sleeve! Let me know what you think Thanks!!

Hi, Michelle! I really like them. I am a fellow beader. I have made a few lanyards, but they seem to break before long.

What stringing material do you use? I have used Power pro (10 lbs) and Fireline (6 lbs) but they still broke.

I use fishing line and have never had a problem! Even took a couple to THE WORLD! hahaah! My MIL bought a few for work and she has not had a problem either. I also double the fishing line to make it extra thick and never use heavy beads

Thanks, Michelle! I will try doubling it. I did use some heavy beads......I'll try using only smaller ones for lanyards.

I wouldn't have the nerve to wear one of mine to WDW....caould you imagine if it broke?!?!?!?! Beads everywhere!!!!!!!!! (I would have to pretend that someone else made it! ).

hahaha I was always afraid of that too, but i figured oh well I have a 1yr old and he pulled on it a lot too! doubling helps soo much

On some of mine I also used magnetic clasps at times, it help in case it gets snagged on something, the clasp will break away instead of just pulling until it breaks
