Beaches?

So, my mom asked last night if we would mind making a stop at the beach. Of course I said no I wouldn't mind. My parents are wanting to go somewhere west of Orlando, so that we don't add any time on to our trip. Does anyone have any suggestions of beaches north west of Orlando?

Nothwest of Orlando I am unsure. To be honest the only beaches I have been to near Beverly Hills were disgusting. I have heard decent things about Homosassa but I don't know firsthand. Alot of the nicer beaches you will need to go out of your way, but in my opinion it would be worth it. Good luck!
