Beaches - Turks and Caicos?

DH and I are looking at what we want to do for our 10th anniversary in May 2007. We originally wanted to take a 7 day Disney cruise but since it looks like the Magic may be going to Europe about that time we won't be able to go. I have looked at other cruises and none of them really excited me. Instead I started looking at all-inclusive resorts. I really like the look of the Beaches resort at Turks and Caicos. Does anyone have any experiences with this resort? It looks so beautiful.

I havent been there but just wanted to say that I was looking at a book for this resort today and it looks amazing! I couldnt imagine any child or adult not having the time of their lives.. I thought about us going at some point in the future too..

The Turks and Caicos are wonderfull!! The resort is phenomonal. It's also very fun for the kids too! They have a butler service that is a step above concierge they do EVERYTHING for you! They also have a vow renewal package for $200.00 which is the services of a wedding coordinator a marriage officer a cake a bouqet for the bride a boutenire for the groom a photo a certificate and champagne. It is nice not to have cash on you there is NO tipping (they get upset if you try to tip!) The only thing you need money for is souvenirs! Or if you take excursions away from the resort. If you choose to go have a great time!

My husband and I got married there in 1998. T&C has the most beautiful beaches of any I've seen anywhere else in the Caribbean. The resort was great.

The resort had just been purchased by the Sandals/Beaches chain when we went so they didn't have a whole lot of activities children's activities up and running yet. In fact, I think we only saw one child there the whole week. It does look like it is much more family oriented now.

The only reason we haven't been back is because we prefer the adults-only Sandals atmosphere.
