Anyone have any experience with this?

I'm curious if you would feel safe going in there to eat?

Do they have any soft serve there? Has anyone ever asked if they had any safe ice cream there that can be scooped out from a new tub with a clean scoop? Or no?

We usually just stick with soft serve to be safe, but since we own at BCV through DVC I figure at some point we might venture in there? Right now though it just seems off limits to me for my daughter, but I hate to be too paranoid.

Thanks for any info or opinions!

DS has a peanut allergy and we have eaten there, however we only had dinner so he had hot dogs and fries.
Honestly, I would, and do, feel safe eating anywhere with DS in WDW. They really take all the precuations necessary as long as you let them know about the allergy. If there is something they arent sure or of, they will advise against having it, and usually make something else for the person. In our experience we have found WDW chefs really cater to those with allergies, and are more than careful. I bring the epi pen of course, but I dont worry too much about it.
Go and enjoy, Im sure something will be worked out.

I've never been there, but I'm sure they could open a new tub of ice cream and use a clean scoop for it. I know they will do this at other ice cream shops at WDW.

I don't know if this info will help, but when we were there last week, and had the Kitchen Sink, I noticed that they used slivered almonds instead of peanuts. I remember because it was unusual, and I love slivered almonds.
