Beaches & Cream or Big River Grille

One night the family wants to go somewhere for great burgers ... had hoped to eat at the Plaza but it's closed when we are going there in March. Which would you recommend - Beaches & Cream or Big River Grille?

Beaches and Cream. However, it gets much more crowded and doesn't take priority seating. Depending on the time of year and time of day you can walk in and get a table for dinner, or you can wait an hour. Go early.

The burgers are better, the ice cream is great, and the atmosphere is cool .

Thanks! We're talking spring break season - the night we want to go there is March 27th. Do you think 5 would be a good time or earlier? I don't mind a wait but DD is a different story - patience isn't her strongest suit.

Usually 5 p.m. is good. You can usually see inside and get an idea. We stayed at BC last Nov. and went twice. Once we had a 10 min. wait, but we went to the arcade nearby -- B&C gave us a pager. So if you really want to eat there and it's busy, ask for a pager, dig out some quarters and let DD play some games. The time will fly!

I'd also say 5:00 should be fine. When we were there in December, we had no trouble around 5:00. By 6:00 there was a wait, and by 7:00 or 8:00 it was an hour wait.

If it's buger you want......Beaches & Cream! Big River Grill is an O.K. restaurant, but they don't specialize in Burgers and Ice Cream. B&C does!

Early dinner ( 5 pm) works good. It get really busy as the evening goes on.

We ate at B&C in 2001. Last year we tried Big River Grille, and I ended up wishing we'd eaten at B&C!

I agree with everyone else. Beaches and Cream is good food and it is really cool inside. Great for all ages. If you get there early you should have no problem getting in.

We love going to Beaches & Cream. The food there is great and the atmosphere is fun. The best time that we found to eat is a late lunch around 2:30 or 3:00, no waiting in line.

Gotta be Beaches & Cream (the food is yummy, hot dog & burgers are tops)!!! Big River Grill doesn't hold a candle; food is only adequate & the servers don't seem to care that you're there. The staff at B & C are fun too!

Big River Grille was a big disappointment. The food was not good. The burgers were overcooked and not very appetizing. We didn't try B&C, but we liked the ESPN Club. The food there was much better than the BRG.

Skip Big River Grille. The food was lousy, especially for the price. And they squeeze you into these little tables. We were miserable with 3 people at our table for 2, with one chair in the aisle, but the family of 4 next to us was even worse off. Their table looked almost the same size as ours!
