How hard would it be to get into Beaches and Cream at around 5pm during the middle of March. Always wanted to go there but always thought the wait would be long. Is it worth a try or is it over rated?

That is a very busy time there. Have people who are coming back from the parks or folks who have been at the pool all day wanting a bite to eat.

If you like burgers then you have to go. The burgers there are great, as is the mint chocolate chip ice cream!!

We always stay at the BC so Beaches and Cream is a must do for us on each trip.

We like Beaches and cream but remember it's an old fashion soda/malt/burger shop. The simple menu and ice cream are it's theme, so if you're looking for a sit down meal with lots of choices, you may want to rethink.

We have lunch there whenever we stay at the beach club.

I haven't been there during March or at 5:00 PM when I have gone, however I personally think the wait is worth it because their Cheeseburgers taste great and their Milkshakes are amazing.

I think it's very overrated. You can walk over to the Dolphin and get basically the same thing without a wait.

If the weather is nice, the wait could be bad. I've found it to be much easier to get in if the pool isn't busy. Still, the place only has about 10 tables so there is usually a wait.

I think it is good but not WOW. I would eat thre again if a minimal wait, say 5-10 minutes. There is not much seating. Keep in mind you can also order at the counter "to go" so you don't have to wait for a seat, but that line can be pretty long as well. I liked that I could have a burger cooked my way (medium rare). The one time I went service was very poor, but again, I have just been once.

I went the first week of December. I didn't think it was busy but they gave me a time to wait of an hour until they found out it was just me and I could sit at the counter.

I'm sure in March it'll be an hour minimum wait at 5pm. The food was very good!

We think it is over rated for the burgers. Actually Adult DS won't eat there again. He felt his burger was extremelly greasy. The ice cream is okay, not amazing.

We go every March when we are at WDW. We have never had to wait more than 30 minutes when we go at prime dining times.

It is a fun, good place to eat. Is it the best burger I've ever had, no. But it's good and a fun place. We love when people order the kitchen sink. That is always fun to watch.

Actually when I was going to have a meal at Beaches and Cream on December 11th, around 7:30pm or so, there was a 1 hour wait. So we walked to the Fountain at the Dolphin and had great burgers there. My friends' shakes looked great, too.

Is it worth a trip out of your way? ..NO
If you are over there it can't hurt to take a look, and its worth a visit once..Waits can be variable. The food is ok, you can get the SAME exact burger over at Hurricaine Hannahs cs in the pool area and the ice cream is EDYS which you can buy at any grocery store

We've been there in Nov, Dec & June at various times during the day and evening and have never had much of a wait. The longest wait was in Nov this past year and I'm still not sure what the problem was. We asked at podium, the gal there said it would be just a couple minutes that they needed to clear off the table. While we sat outside and waited a different CM came to the podium. Another family came and talked to her and she gave them a buzzer to let them know when their table would be ready. We waited a little bit then went back up to ask her if we should have a buzzer....about that time the first CM came back out and said that she "had us" that our table was almost ready. When we went in (total wait 10-15 minutes), there were probably 3 empty tables. There were just the 2 of us, so I don't know what the hold up was with getting "our table cleaned" :confused3 But other than that we've never really waited. Of course, if there were a long wait DH wouldn't stay, but that hasn't happened yet. DH insists they are the best burgers at WDW.
