My son was looking for yummies at Disney and has come upon the "kitchen Sink" at Beaches and Cream.

This is listed as a table service can we go there with no ADR and just order the ice cream treat he's looking for?

Yes, they only take walk-ups. There is sometimes a wait though, especially right after illuminations ends at epcot.

Ok next question can you get counter food there too. Trying to work out how to squeeze this in the the food minded teen

You'd have to go without an ADR as they don't take reservations. It's first come, first serve there.

A lot of people go there just for the Sink so don't worry that you're not ordering food.

I am not sure what you mean by "counter food." They have counter seating, but you cannot order food for takeout.

We saw on all ears that you can get sandwiches and other meal stuff wondering if we could do say lunch/dinner there not having an ADR. how long roughly is a long wait time?

They have food and they have icecream, but it is a TS credit on the dining plan regardless. During mealtimes and after Illuminations lets out the waits can be an hour or more since the place is teeny tiny.

Beaches and Cream only takes walk-ups (no ADRs). It is a very small restaurant so the wait can be long (I waited about 45 minutes around 2pm on a weekday during October). Many people come just for the ice cream, but they do have burgers and sandwiches. It isn't counter service, but it is relatively cheap (albeit still a bit more than a normal counter service). Which is good if paying out of pocket, but it is table service on the dining plan. Here is a couple of pics of the kitchen sink:

when we were there in May we went around 4:00 and there was only one other family. it was like we had the whole place to ourselves! Food is good and the portions are good size. We split the No Way Jose and I wish is was eating it now!!!

They have take-out ice cream, but the take-out selection is limited. My nephew and I wanted the brownie a la mode, and we couldn't get that at the take-out window. There weren't any tables available, so we sat at the counter.

Hi tpettie,
The wait time can vary greatly though I would say I have waited an average of 20-30 minutes most times. I would really try and find the time as it is a really fun experience. Just be willing to help your son eat the "sink" as I have seen more than one adult work on it and not be able to finish. The fun is really trying though! Have a great trip.

Like everyone else has posted, these sandwiches would be Table Service credits not Counter Service, and I wanted to be sure that you knew the Kitchen Sink is not included on the DDP - so it will cost you about $22+ out of pocket if you order it.

If you are not on a dining plan, i suggest heading over to the Fountain at the Dolphin. The burgers are better, IMHO and the ice cream is as good. Best part, not as crowded as B&C! The theming isn't as good but DVC'ers get a 20% discount

I usually go around 3PM for a burger and have never had to wait. Table or counter are available at that time. I have never had the ice cream.

No it is not a CS restaurant it is a TS credit

Beaches and Cream is a table service restaurant. They do not accept DDP CS credits, only TS credits.

The Kitchen Sink is not included as a DDP dessert.

There is a separate carryout window, but no food or specialty sundaes are available there - just ice cream cones, basic sundaes, possibly milkshakes, and drinks. You cannot use a CS credit there. Some items sold there qualify as DDP snacks.

Burgers are available at Hurricane Hanna's grill by the pool for a CS credit.

I have seen pictures of the brownie ala mode. Is it served warm? I wonder if not, if you can ask for it to be served warm?
