Is beaches and cream a TS or CS meal? I called today and you don't make reservations? Is it busy there, I was thinking mid afternoon, would that be a good time to go for late lunch/early supper?

It is a TS meal but they don't take ressies. It is a VERY small restaurant. I would think mid-afternoon would be a perfect time to go. Don't go after IllumiNations. I hear it's packed! Make sure you get the Kitchen Sink. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The burgers and fries smelled yummy! :)

We usually go right when they open at 11 and never have any wait. We went on Thursday and got there a little later (around 11:30), while we got right in, it was very busy. I hear later there is a long wait, but it would be worth it! Get the Kitchen Sink!!!

Whenever I'm at WDW, my brother (who lives in Cocoa) meets me at Beaches and Cream at 11:00 for lunch. They have great burgers, fries, and onion rings - but they've stopped carrying pickles! What kind of burger place doesn't have pickles?! :sad2:

No ressies and it's a TS. We stepped in around 2-3 and got seated right away. I'd go at an off-time to be sure that there's no line.

Lots of comments about the Kitchen Sink...it is not included on the DP. So you'll spend over $20 OOP to have that. :thumbsup2

WHAT?!?!?! :scared1:

It counts as a TS and is a very poor use of the DDP. If you are trying to save credits, I'd pay OOP for this one.

We ate at Beaches & Cream on a Saturday this past Sept. and arrived right at 11am as it was opening. We were the first to be seated so we took this rare picture of the place empty!

We love their authentic cherry cokes, burgers, onion rings and their ice cream is the best! My favorite dessert in all of WDW is the banana split, pictured below.

Momof2, thanks for those pics, makes me anxious to be there now. :goodvibes

I'm gonna get that banana split.

I found the banana split to not have enough hot fudge...they will bring you extra :rolleyes1

Now, if I show those photos to my nephew he's going to expect a Fantasmic Mickey to come with his meal! No pressure there, thanks. :rotfl2:

BTW that banana split looks like trouble waiting to happen; I'm in. :thumbsup2

The food is good, but I would never ever wait for this place.Least crowds are at opening or midafternoon.Avoid traditional mealtimes, and definitely avoid after Illuminations gets out, since a lot of people try to head over for ice cream. On busy days there I have seenwaits well over an hour for a table.

There are six tables that seat 4 each (which can be and are pushed together for larger parties) and three large booths, and some counter seating. That's it.

It's true that they do not take any reservations. First come, first served only.

It's also true that the Kitchen Sink is not available on the dining plan, but I believe any other dessert is.
