Beaches and Cream

We want to try it out in October but I was wondering if they have soft serve ice cream as well or nut free type deserts? My youngest ds is 6yo and allergic to nuts and there's no way we could go to a place with ice cream and tell him he can't have any. If they had soft serve I figure he'd be ok though.

I know with nut allergies, you've got to be cautious about cross contamination. I don't think they have soft-serve ice cream, but there are plenty of options for ice cream and toppings without nuts.

Tell your server your concerns, and I'll just bet they can make sure nothing bad happens. B&C gets high marks in my book for going the second mile... when DD was going through some sort of lemonade phase (?), she was disappointed when she saw all they had was Minute Maid lemonade out of the soda fountain. Our server disappeared for a few minutes and returned with some fresh-squeezed lemonade from a nearby bar. How about that?

Hopefully we can figure something out for him. Unfortunatly it's TREE nuts not peanuts and most ice cream places have ice cream flavours that include pistachio's, almonds, pecans, walnuts or chashews - his top 5.

Glad to hear they are accomodating though.... we can always go in and ask and give it a try!

FYI, at Seashores Sweets ...across the lake at the Boardwalk .. they have softserve.
