Is it possible to just get ice cream at B&C without a reservation?

I don't think they'll do the kitchen sink at the window. Mickey's pants may be doable, as well as some of their other sundaes.

If all you want is ice cream, then Ample Hills may be a better choice. Or possibly for a simple sundae with more interesting ice cream flavors.

There's also The Fountain at the Dolphin Hotel, which has both hard pack and soft serve ice cream (as well as other foods).

This is one tiny restaurant. If you plan on eating a meal, I would continue to try for an ADR> if you want an ice cream cone, you're good.

If you want the kitchen sink or one of the bigger sundaes, an ADR is your best bet or you may be turned away or have a very long wait time. If you just want ice cream, as others have said, you can do the walk-up line. If you want better ice cream (Beaches and Cream is Edy's ice cream), head over to Ample Hills on the Boardwalk.

You can also order it at the Main Street ice cream parlor. I like sitting at the bistro tables just enjoying Main Street with my ice cream. If you find a long line or don't get to B&C at a reasonable time, know you can have the backup plan.

SUre, but you pay full price anyway. I bought two. I asked them to make small sundaes for me and my friend in a container. I wanted teh Mickey pants for popcorn bowls for my sons, and could nto wash them properly before leaving.

You can buy any container empty, but you will need to pay as if it was filled.

I don't know if you can still do this but last year I was able to order some of the bigger sundaes at the window - I think the Milky Way and snickers ones. I did it multiple times during our trip.

I do this a lot. The popcorn containers are so cute and make great gifts. I don't like carrying them home if they were used do I just buy one in the original bag. Sometimes I'll get a small bag of popcorn with it, sometimes not.
