We were at Beaches and Cream three times this past week. The "to go" section only serves drinks and ice cream now - you can't get sandwiches to go anymore.
As for the wait, we were a party of 2 requesting a booth rather than the counter seats or one of those small tables with small chairs. Our first two visits were around the 7:30 pm time peroid. We waited the first time for well over an hour and the second time for about 45 minutes. We were staying at the Beach Club Villas and really didn't want to go elsewhere so we got drinks from the lounge and waited. Our third visit (yesterday, our check-out day) was around 2:10 pm; we only waited about 20 minutes for a booth.
Important note: We always loved their burgers but found some issues this trip. During our first "night-time" visit, we ordered burgers cooked medium. Both of our burgers were extremely dry and over-cooked. We came back the second time hoping it was just a fluke. However, during the second dinner, we had the same dry, over-cooked burger experience. We noticed the same person was working the grill. In speaking with others, our experience did not seem to be an isolated one with this grill person and got the feeling staff and patrons alike were not happy with his cooking. We came back a third time as we were not ready to give up on this restaurant. On this last visit, we made sure to stop in during a shift we were told would have a different grill person (2:00 in the afternoon). This time, the burgers were terrific - they were cooked just right, were juicy, and had great flavor.
