Beaches and Cream question

I have to be honest, having had the kitchen sink in the past, which has a lot of yucky stuff to make it bigger, the Ghiardelli Earthquake is sooo much better! With the coupon, you can get exactly the flavors and the toppings you want, bananas, cherries, whipped cream and those wonderful chocolates on top for $10. More than enough for four adult appetites. You could even get two, end up with twice as much ice cream for almost half of the $$$.

What coupon is this? :earsgirl:

After reading about B&C on these boards this week, I think I may have to add it to our list of places to visit. Wish there was more info about it on the WDW website though.
You can see B&C's menu on allearsnet.com

In response to the OP's question about the kid's dessert, every time we have eaten there it has always been a cookie. Pretty lame in my opinion for an ice cream restaurant :) especially since the kid's meals are fairly expensive. Anyway, we always end up getting the kids ice cream too and saving the cookies for a snack later as the kids would not be happy to see us eating ice cream for dessert while they had a cookie. Fortunately, the desserts at B&C are generous so it is easy enough to share them.

Be aware - B&C cream is a VERY SMALL restaurant (I believe there are only 3 booths and 5 or 6 very small tables that they squeeze up to 5 people at) and the counter. At peak times, the wait can be a while so be prepared. We love eating at B&C and have been fortunate in not having to wait very often but due to the size and popularity of the restaurant you should be prepared for long waits at certain "prime times" (e.g. right after Illuminations).

My sister really wants to try the kitchen sink. So before her wedding we are thinking of having all the maids and flower girl split a Kitchen Sink. Has anyone ever had one? And could we ask them not to add things, like butterscotch--I hate it. Would it be feasible for us to split it between 4 adults, 1 teen, and a child?

OMG!! I just watched the travel channel show "Great hotels" where the hostess went to beaches and cream, and they showed them making the kitchen sink... When they handed it to her she got so excited.. .. my boyfriend was making fun of her, but i was like, That's gonna be ME in 8 months acting like that when they give me the dessert!!

It looked so good!!!

Anyone else catch it?

I love the location and atmosphere of Beaches and Cream. It was one of the places I was dying to try on our last trip. I was not disappointed, by my DS hated his burger - according to him just a greasy, fried burger. It is the only restaurant he has asked not to eat at this trip.
I would still make a detour for Ice Cream or a frozen drink.

B&C also has the worst vegetarian burger we've ever eaten. It tasted as if it had major freezer burn.

Beaches and Cream is a horrible, horrible restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I especially wouldn't recommend it to anyone Oct. 28-Nov 15 of this year, as that is when I will be FORCED at a moments notice to go over from the BW for some Ice Cream. When I do go there, I get the No Way, Jose. It tastes like cough syrup, but somehow I find the strength to eat one or two every trip.

5 of us shared the kitchen sink it was good. For me to much candy in it. :Pinkbounc

If you're looking for a good frozen drink, try the Frozen Sunshine :sunny: :sunny: . It's a frosty, thick, orange-creamcicle drink and comes with whipped cream on top and little orange-slices gel candies on top. TO DIE FOR! If the TO GO line is long, you can always get waited on at the counter and ask for it to go. I think i might try to make one tonight in the blender, too bad i don't have illuminations to get ready to watch too!!!
