I wonder how far the pagers work

We are staying at BC and wanted to do a Kitchen Sink lunch. Maybe while at Stormalong Bay it could go off...lol

Keep in mind that there is counter seating too - when DH and I went last September, there was a wait for an actual table or booth (I want to say it was maybe a 20 or 30 minute wait), but we were seated immediately at the counter - it is still waiter/waitress service there. We had one of the best CM's as our waitress that we have ever had at DW. The CMs there work really hard - our waitress took our order, had several other tables and helped with the food prep. It was fun to sit at the counter and watch the food and ice cream being made too! We went at about 8:30 or so which seemed like perfect timing because the place got slammed right after Illuminations let out - both with people wanting to be seated and with a long line of people placing to go orders.

We are just back home yesterday & had lunch at B&C on Sunday. It was awful. Over an hour wait at 115 (mostly standing outside - beepers have a somewhat limited range), then when I pressed after we'd waited longer than our estimated time, they managed to scrape up a table. Throughout the restaurant, they had crammed 4 people at 2-person table tops & 6 people in average sized booths. Then there was the food. My boys, who are burger fiends & were starving by the time we got in, did not finish their burgers because they 'tasted weird' (they're 11 & 14, btw). Dh ordered a hotdog w/ kraut that came w/ about 1 tbs. of kraut on it. I ordered a club sandwich that was ok at best. The chocolate shake that dh ordered was good, though. Just not a good experience for us. We won't likely go back. Which is sad, b/c I had good memories of the place.
