Every trip we usually eat 1 lunch at Beaches and Cream. I've read that the burgers are now Mickey D qualitiy and thus not good or worth it. I've also read that B&C is still a favorite destination and the burgers are as good as they ever were. Whats the real skinny? Is it still a good choice for lunch or are the burgers now inferior to what they were? Need an answer soon , leave Saturday. :earboy2:

We were there during November, and they were still the best on property. I would say go for it!

Our first trip there was this last trip (about 10 days ago). I don't know how they used to be but we found them WONDERFUL. My DH says it is now a must do on every trip. We both had burgers and onion rings.

We use to go here at least 3 times per trip, that's how much we loved the burgers. On our last trip in Nov. the hamburger meat is totally different than before. I tastes like cafeteria burgers, McD's is actually better! We will not be going back for burgers, but they do have other things to eat. Their fries are great and ceasar salad too. Plus the desserts, and they have sandwhiches too. It is a neat place, but if you have 3 or more people wait for a booth. Those tables are tiny!

Definately have to agree. We went 2 times during our last stay, Dec 1-8 2004, and the hamburgers were not the same as they used to be. We were dissappointed because we used to love them there. They aren't really bad but they aren't outstanding anymore. Also, the turkey wrap was kind of bland. But, like Desnik said, the desserts are awesome, especially the ice cream sundaes which are huge!

When we were there in July they were the same as always but apparently something changed in November. I am HOPING that maybe there was a vendor problem and they had to use different burgers temporarily? I know, maybe just wishful thinking on my part but you'd think the manager would realize the difference and want to go back to the quality they had. If anyone goes there soon and the burgers are still not good tell the manager ok? I can't imagine a trip without a B&C burger!

We were there last week and have eaten there in the past. We really enjoy the place, but I can't speak about the burgers. The onion rings are amazing and I really LOVED their hot dogs! Weird, I know.....but the hot dog was grilled and so tasty. BTW, we also pigged out on the Kitchen Sink.

I say, go for it!

:D

We were there in early Dec. I don't know what the burgers used to be like but on our trip they were excellent and far above McD's quality. B&C is on our must do list every trip from now on--not just for the No Way Jose, but for the cheeseburgers, too!

We just got back and I had Quick and Casual vouchers so we made a point of going there as I had heard you got good value for them there. We were so disappointed. The only good thing was the desserts (yum). The food was not good, the service was not good, plus there were people in there with no shirts on - yuck! - and they did not get asked to leave!
This was the only disappointing meal we had at Disneyworld.

What a vast array of differing opinions. We had lunch there on December 3rd and it was great. All four of us had the burgers and we commented on how good they were. I didn't see any difference from the burgers we had in April. Oh well, everyone's taste is different, but we loved the place.

We were just there on 12/13 and the burgers were delicious! We used 2 Q&C vouchers and couldn't believe the amount of food we had. The onion rings were so yummy...greasy, but good! My dh asked for his burger rare and said that it was one of the best burgers he has ever had. The sundaes were incredible! Oh my....I can't wait to go back!! We got there at 11:30am and there were only 2 other couples inside. 15 minutes later the place was packed!

Someone posted rather recently about having burgers there that were not the same as usual. They were told that sometimes B&C runs out and is forced to use something else...maybe the frozen preformed burgers??

We were just at Beaches and Cream last Saturday for lunch (11th). I was disappointed with our food. We didn't get any burgers, though. We ordered the turkey sandwich and the turkey wrap. Both sandwiches weren't very impressive. The wrap tasted only like the american cheese that was on it, gross! The onion rings were good, though. And the sundaes were pretty good too. I would never go there to eat again for a regular meal, though. Oh well, I had vouchers and wanted to check it out so we did! Oh, and just to gross everyone out, my daughter lost her "cookies" :crazy2: so to speak, the minute we stepped up to order our food. NOBODY even bothered to clean it up! They just threw towels over it and never mopped the floor. It was disgusting. Not so much the barf but the fact that people were walking over the towels with no clue what was under them. I thought that was pretty bad considering it was a luxury resort.

We ate there for the first time over Thanksgiving weekend. I had always read wonderful things about B&C but had never been over to the BC area to try it. The place was packed so we got 2 cheeseburgers and an order of onion rings to go. We comtemplated getting 2 orders of o. rings, but decided on just one. Thank goodness. They were AWFUL. They greased through the bag just walking over to the YC. We have nothing against greasy food as we eat more than we should, but these were like they took them out of the grease and immediately put them in the bag. Tried squeezing/blotting the grease onto a napkin and it just made them a mess and didn't improve the taste. The burgers were ok. Not the best I'd ever had, but ok. I was very disapointed. We did go back a couple nights later for a sundae which was delicious.

We will be going to Beaches and Cream in Feb but we're leary of the news of new burgers! It will be a shame if they have downgraded to lousy burgers! We always loved this place!

It would be wonderful if all the dissatisfied customers would drop Disney a line. With so many people saying the same thing, surely they would listen.

They might even send you a little something in apology. Not sure what, though. Don't think a burger would mail very well.

We had lunch at B&C yesterday. Yes, the burgers were different, but they were still very good and high quality meat. It's not like they are serving school cafeteria food. If I could choose, I'd rather have the old ones, but I will not stop going to B&C. The chicken noodle soup was yummy as ever as was the ice cream.

We had lunch there last week (for the first time) and we all thought he burgers were great (onion rings too). Maybe we were really hungy, but they were the best burgers I have had in a while (much better than McD or BK).

Maybe we just hit an "off" night with the onion rings. It was packed and maybe they had a new cook? Since I'm the only person who has complained about the rings (and I had never met an onion ring that I didn't love before this) then maybe it was a fluke.

The one time we went to B&C we were disappointed. The quality of the food was above average then, (about a year ago), however, do be aware that this place is small--I mean tiny! There's about 4 booths, and what they call tables are more like a pedestal. There's barely enough room on the tables for two drinks forget a meal. If you are more than a party of two and want to eat a meal, you will need a booth. Be prepared to wait, and wait, even during slow season. IMO, this place is ok if you're in the area but not worth planning a special trip around.
