we are thinking about trying Beaches and cream next month -
we are planning on visiting resorts, and might time this visit out w/ lunch or snack........
i need some help, as we have never eaten there before.

how much $ will we need for burgers, fries and and ice cream a sundae for 4 people? ( DD9 might share w/ DH)
i looked at allears menu, but i would like an example from someone whom actaully ate there :)

do we need ADR?

instead of getting Ice cream at Giradelli ( DTD) would get that kitchen sink instead- is thiers as good AS giradelli?

w
thank you

Tina

Beaches and Cream doesn't take ADR's. Get there early, like right when they open, and you shouldn't have to wait long.

I wasn't impressed with the food. The onion rings are great but the burgers are just so so. I thought ESPN's burger was far superior. Also, the kitchen sink is super filling for 4 people. Maybe you just want to do that!!

We just got back, four adults with dessert will cost about $75. Burgers are almost $10, sundae's about $8 plus soda and tip....Ooops, make that $90!

If you are going with two adults and two children, it would be less.

You can go to allears.net to get menus--including prices for most WDW restaurants. This is a HUGE benefit to us when we are trying to plan our meals.

B&C is very small and right off the pool so there is often a line to wait in for a table. It's best to time it for "off" hours, either right when they open or after the lunch crowd. There are only about 6 tables in there plus the soda counter.

The food is okay, not great. I have never thought it was Great but did think this past trip was more disappointing than before, perhaps it is just the new buns that everyplace seems to have now. The ice cream choices are very good.

I disagree with the "not great" reviews. Its a burger and ice cream joint. In comparison to everywhere else on property B&C has the best burgers, and the ice cream is awesome too. But at its core, its a burger joint, so looking for anything more than that will of course be a disappointment. We eat at B&C about once a month and always love it. The burgers are cooked fresh, the buns are baked daily at BW bakery and toasted, and the ice cream is hand scooped. If you're looking for a good burger and ice cream, not sure what else you could hope for. While they dont take ADRs, one tip is to request the counter if you dont mind it, as you'll be seated much faster.

While Dh ,DD, and I like this place well enough..we would never ever wait for it.It is good but nothing great.I think the novelty is what attracts so many people.Hours are 1100a-1100p.If you get there at opening or dine on off times there may not be a wait.At traditional meal times and after illuminations gets out the waits can be over an hour for a table. This place is very tiny.

when we went in September, it was about $50 plus tip. DH and I had burgers. I don't remember what DS ate. But we all got ice cream. It was well worth it. We will be going back to B&C in May.
