Beaches and Cream counter (not "to go")

About 4 years ago, I walked into Beaches and Cream alone and sat at the counter (on a bar stool)--no reservation, and I think I was the only one at the counter my whole meal!
Is that still possible? Dh and I would like to have a light meal there after we check in at BWI, but since we are taking ME we aren't sure exactly what time we will arrive. Our plane lands at MCO around 9 am, so we are hoping we can be there around 11 am, but not confident enough to make an ADR.
Does Beaches and Cream still have the counter/bar stools and are they usually available for walk ins around that time?

It's still possible, but you might have a bit of a wait.

The counter you can't just walk up to any more. You have to go to the check in desk and let them know you are willing to sit at the counter. Every time we have been the counter has been full.

Thanks! I guess we will just take our chances that it won't be full, or a short wait. I'm always too nervous to book an ADR too close to my arrival time.

We stayed at BW a couple weeks ago. After spending the morning at MK we took the bus back to Beach Club. It was around 2:00. We checked in at B&C and when they asked if counter was okay we said sure and sat right down. There were maybe 4 other people already there but for the time we there, There were always a few empty stools. We love eating there for a little nostalgia! Good luck.

As an alternative have you considered The Fountain at the Swan or Dolphin (never remember which). They don't accept ADRs and an even shorter walk from BWI.
