Beaches and Cream Closing Date

We arrive on August 4th and would love to go. I've heard that it could be closed on August 3rd for renovations but I also heard it was open until mid August. Can someone confirm

I believe the refurb has been pushed back until later in August, closer to Labor Day.

It is closing on August 26 for refurbishment. You might get lucky finding a reservation, if you start looking one or two days before you want to go, as there are last-minute cancellations. Otherwise, you can sometimes do a walk-up with a wait, if you don't mind sitting at the counter. The carry-out line is good for ice cream and beverages.

They are aiming for December.

I have an ADR for late January, so it’s definitely scheduled to reopen by then.

The temporary location at Ariel’s has most of the ice cream options, we went there last week. No hot food, and no kitchen sink, though.
