We want to go to beaches and cream for lunch the day that we are at Blizzard Beach. I was wondering if they let you out and back in blizzard beach, with a handstamp like they do at the parks? How far away is Beaches and Cream from Blizzard Beach? Thanks for any help you can offer!

Blizzard Beach is near the Animal Kingdom, the All Stars and the Coronado Springs resort. The Beach Club is right by Epcot - different area of WDW. You can definitely leave the park and come back. However, I do not think eating at Beaches and Cream for lunch makes any sense during your day at Blizzard Beach - not a good use of your time. When you are at the water park for the day, you have to change into your swim suit, get situated in chairs, get your sunscreen on, rent a locker (usually), etc., and in order to leave, you would have to get dressed, dried off, pack up everything, and walk a LONG way down the hill either to the buses or the parking lot. If you are doing buses, then you wait for a bus, and take the 20 minute ride (including time to drop off at other resorts) and then go to Beaches and Cream. Then you wait for a bus back (could be 20 minutes or so), take it back, and walk all the way back up to the park (uphill to where the slides are) and try to get another place for your family to sit, etc. This will cost you 2-3 hours of real time. And you will probably just eat burgers at B & C - which is same thing you will likely eat in the park at Blizzard Beach. Save yourself the trouble!

By all means go to Beaches and Cream, just not as "lunch" in the middle of your Blizzard Beach day. Plan to eat at Beaches and Cream on the day you visit Epcot - you can exit the International Gateway at Epcot and just walk over and get lunch or dinner at Beach Club, then return to Epcot. Alternatively, eat dinner at B & C after you are done at Blizzard Beach.

Just my 2 cents!

Is Beaches and Cream where I can get that yummy "Kitchen Sink"? And is it at B&YC?

We must have walked past it SO many times last Dec. when we were on Boardwalk but couldn't find it!

Yes, you get the Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream, which is by the B&Y Clubs. I don't think the location of Beaches and Cream is really easy to find if you don't know where to look! Your best bet is to enter the hotel lobby area (if you are coming from the sidewalk by the marina) and ask directions! ;) From the two lobbies, you do have to go through a hallway - past the other restaurants and then outside to where the pool area is. It is by the arcade room - and it is very small on the inside! There are tables outside of the restaurant also.

When you are on the sidewalk leading to Epcot/Boardwalk/Swan & Dolphin you will see Stormalong Bay (the pool) and Beaches and Cream is right by that - however, you aren't really supposed to enter through the pool area, and I don't think it is really easy to do so.

Thanks! NO wonder we couldn't find it last time. We kept walking back and forth in a giant circle and still couldn't find Beaches & Cream! (I thought DH was going to strangle me when I told him let's walk around again:scared: )

Ooohh, can't wait to get the Kitchen Sink! Thanks again!:teeth:

I also agree with JLS, that going to Beaches and Cream from Blizzard Beach and planning on returning after eating will eat up more time than you think. If you're driving yourself, it still will take upwards of 2 hours. What JLS didn't mention is that Beaches and Cream is usually MOBBED for lunch and unless you get there really early(before noon) or very late (after 2:00), meaning returning wouldn't be possible, there will be a significant wait for a table, sometimes up to an hour. If you really want to eat at Beaches and Cream on the day you're at Blizzard Beach, stay at Blizzard Beach until 2 or so and then head over. There should be little to no wait at that time, and you would have gotten a lot of time at Blizzard Beach. I don't know when you plan on going, but the water parks are notorious for having to close in the afternoons. If there is any hint of lightining in the area, the water parks will shut down. Sometimes temporarly, sometimes for a longer period of time. If you leave Blizzard Beach to eat lunch and plan on returning around mid afternoon, you could find yourself unable to enter due to the park being closed.

I totally agree with what Jelo511 said! Beaches n' Creams is an awesome place but it is very tiny and doesn't accomodate many customers at a time...a good strategy for B&C is to go at an "off" dining time so as to reduce the possible wait times....

I was thinking of going to Pepper Market on our Blizzard Beach day.

We've never been to the waterparks so I am not sure if we will have had enough by noon time. So we may go at lunch or dinner when BB closes.

Coronado Springs is very close to BB.
