We are staying off site so we will have to drive in and park somewhere, any suggestions? I was thinking of having dinner at B & C before the Cruise, where exactly is it? Will we be able to walk to catch our cruise from there?

Beaches and Cream is right between the Yacht Club and Beach Club. It can be reached from either lobby by inside corridors which open into an outdoor walkway next to the pool. If you tell the guard you want to eat at Beaches and Cream and then the Illuminations Cruise, you will probably be given a parking pass long enough to let you do both.

To get to the Yacht Club Marina afterward, follow corridors to the Yacht Club Lobby and exit to the lake -- you'll be right there. It's a short walk.

Plan B's: If for some reason you are not given a parking pass at Yacht Club or Beach Club (unlikely), you can continue around Epcot Resorts Blvd and park across the street from Boardwalk. If Beaches and Cream is so packed you can't be seated in time to get to your cruise (quite possible), head toward Yacht Club and eat at Yacht Club Galley. It's not as much fun as Beaches & Cream but it beats going hungry.

The first night of our last trip, we did exactly that. We ate dinner at B & C, then proceded to head over to the marina for our illuminations cruise. B & C is rather small inside, but the food was really good. Our dd's jaw dropped when she saw the kitchen sink.

Have fun!

This is exactly what we did before the Illuminations Cruise and how we wish we hadnt. It destroyed the build up to the cruise as the food was AWFUL!!!! I cant even describe how horrible it was right from the service through to the drinks. We had the turkey wraps. cookies and chips and we all struggled to get through what was dry (and in the case of the cookies burnt) food. I was talking to the kids about B&C yesterday and dd just commented that she had never ever tasted such bad food.
We have done the Yacht Club Galley and that was a different matter. It was fantastic!
I know that all our experiences differ but this was our experience on what was probably a very bad day for B&C.

Leave yourself plenty of time, try to start having dinner by 6pm, and try to get to Bayside Marine (little building just to the right of the Lighthouse Dock) by 8pm.
I have dined at B&C many times and have never had a bad experience, although it's not the California Grill either. The desserts are HUGE and the Kitchen Sink is perfect for a party of 4 or 5 to split. Park on the Yacht Club side since this will be much closer for you after the cruise.
