*Beach View of Fireworks

Is it allowed to watch the fireworks from Polynesian's beach or Grand Floridian beach, even if one is not staying at the hotel? Does it make a difference if I have reservations at a resort restaurant?? (It just sounds heavenly to grab a drink, wander to the beach, and watch both the fireworks and the Electric Water Parade.)

I am specifically looking at the 4th of July, if that makes a difference.

My DH and I did that last January when we were there for our Anniversary. We went out after having dinner at Ohanas and grabbed a hammock and relaxed and watched the parade go by.

Doofy question, I know, but which Fireworks show can you see? What's the Electric Water Parade? DH and I are going in Dec and spending 2 days at Epcot (I'm not a huge fan of Illuminations- Please no flames!), and we don't really need to see the same fireworks show twice.

We watched the fireworks at the Poly beach - after dinner at the California Grill and picking up DS from the Netherland Club. We walked to a "point" - a few people were there. It was a nice way to end the evening. The view of the fireworks IHMO is a bit far and you can't hear any music. I don't know if I would make a special trip to see the fireworks from there.

My boyfriend and I watched Wishes from the Poly in January. It was so relaxing sitting on the beach and seeing the sky light up. However, the music wasn't piped in. So, if the music is essential to you, then I would avoid the beach at the Poly. It was still beautiful without the music though. After the show was over we headed in for dinner at 'Ohana. It's one of my favorite memories from WDW. I highly recommend watching the fireworks from there.
