Beach Towels?

Here's another question:

Do we need to bring any beach towels from home? I know they give you towels at CC, but what if we go to the beach in Cozumel, should we pack our own towels?

First off yes they will let u take the towel's from the ship just...


Funny story... Recent cruisers forgot to take there towels off the ship with them , and went off to do there own Excursion , so the headed off toward 7 mile beach after finding a spot the liked
relized they had no towels in there bag ... So So the man cruiser saw some body on the beach and ask if he could get a couple towels.. the man replied i only have one left. he said ok i willl take it the man said ok $5.00 and he paid it...
Well at the end of the day wanted to return towel Brought back to the hotel area and was told no sir u return that on the ship See right here it Says RCCL... lol
so now owns a rccl towel....

Don't bother bringing your own towels. They take up too much room and too long to dry! You can go up to deck 10 by the pools and get towels to bring on your outings to wherever you want. We took towels to Stingray City and Chanknaab in Cozumel. All that's asked is that you return them to the pool area.

If you're going on an excursion with a group from the ship, towels will be stacked up for you to take at your meeting place before departure. At Castaway, they will be handing them out at a table as you get off the ship and will collect them in a huge bin as you return.

As the other responders stated, DCL will give you one towel per person to take ashore. However, we did bring beach towels, as the DCL are small.

We hung them on the chairs on our verandah and they dried quickly.

I would bring your own! The ones they give are very small...I like one I can wrap around the ones on the ship just dont cut it!

I always buy a DCL beach towel onboard....I use that as my souvieneer from the trip!!! Love them because they are big, the towels up by the pool are two small for my liking.

Here are some different styles of beach towels that DCL sells...and they are always coming out with more styles. They run about $20.00 each.

Also, at all the island you can buy towels for a few bucks. My DD bought a nice St. Maarten one for about $5-6.
