Just wanted to ask a quick question about beach towels at Nassau and Castaway Cay...I had read somewhere that DCL gives out towels as you exit the boat on Castaway Cay and then you return them to the same spot as you re-board the boat. Is it the same for Nassau? I just wanted to ask so that I can prepare for packing, and didn't know how many beach towels we needed to throw it!
As always, TIA! :cool1:

Yes, dcl DOES give out towels for both Nassau and Castaway. We received our towels on the ship and returned them right after our snorkel excursion at the dock in Nassau. There are several drop off locations for the used towels doesn't matter where you return them. : ) Have a Great Trip !!

if this posts more then once i am sorry, the post kept saying try again later server busy....

Thank you, Stacy!
My husband tells me that I need to loosen up and go with the flow more, but I can't help but try and have ALL these things figured out before we go...otherwise I'll freak out! I am SOOO excited and even thinking about rebooking a 7-night while onboard!
Thanks again!

If you are on a Disney sponsored excursion and it involves water, they have towels at the excursion meeting point. At CC they have them just off the ship on the pier. You're welcome to take ships towels ashore, they just ask you to bring them back. You might have to go up to Deck 9 to get them though.

The collection bins are usually just before or after you re-board the ship. They're just big wire baskets on wheels.

The towel they give you are not by any mean beach towels, they are small pool type towels, if you really like a towel to wrap around yourself either bring your own or buy one by the pool.

Follow you husband advice. Go and just enjoy. You don't need to pack a beach towel. They will aways have towels you can use at the pool or take on shore excursions. Besides who wants to store sandy towels in their cabins. I do recommend you take your own snorkel, We just buy cheep ones ( you never know who's mouth has been usuing it, even thought they say they sterilize Yuck)and one time I had bouht so many souveniors I just left the snorkel behind. Oh I always take water shoes for us and the kids and just wear them in place of sandals at the beach. :boat:
