Our family is considering tacking on a week in the Orlando area after we spend a week on Amelia Island Fl. But we will have a lot of beach "extras" - chairs, coolers, boogie boards, sand toys, etc. We're trying to figure out a way to store them when we leave for Orlando, so that we can pick them up a week later on our way back home. Storage units rent by the month, but we only need one week. Any ideas? TIA

I'd just keep them in the car if you don't want them in the hotel room. That's what I've always done. But then I usually only have 4 small beach chairs, one boogie board, a small drawstring bag of beach toys, one cooler and beach towels. We used to have 2 boogie boards but broke one and never replaced it.

I doubt you'll find any place to temporarily store your stuff for just a week.

Agree with leaving them in the car. Do you really need beach chairs? Would a large blanket work? Does the place where you are staying (or nearby) have chairs/adventure items for rent? A collapsible cooler or insulated tote bag would fold down but still hold drinks and snacks for beach days. If you take a hard sided cooler, you could store the beach toys in the cooler for the ride home.
