Beach Resort ?

For our next family vacation we have decided to spend four or five days on sight and then about the same off sight. Our offsite time will most likley be completley non park oriented and I actually really want somwhere beach front (cocoa beach, cape canaveral, anywhere pretty close). We just want to relax these last few days, play on the beach and fix simple meals for ourselves as we will do the DxDDP for the first half of the trip. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd love somewhere very family oriented, close to a good beach, with a nice pool and rooms with kitchens. Can you help me?
