Beach near Disney?

I'm thinking of doing a few beach days before my Disney trip next summer any recommendations? Bonus points if you know a good family resort too!

The last time I went, we rented a car mid trip, then went to Cocoa Beach, Ron Jons, a yummy Mexican place (La Fiesta), and Dixie Crossroads in Titusville. We came back to our WDW hotel that night.

This next trip I'm planning on hitting up a beach on the Gulf side.

I'm curious to see what kinds of responses you get, I'm interested too!!
