Beach hotel recommendation near Busch Gardens?

After staying in Orlando a few days we may drive to Busch Gardens for the day and then onto the beach... anyone have a recommendation for a hotel on the Gulf coast beach from Tampa? preferably going more North since we will be driving back home to Georgia after.

Hello I have a few questions..... Are you traveling with a pet? then try the Lorelei Motel Resort, they are pet friendly.... around 75.00 nt Looking for a Fantastic Hotel in the Moderate range? i suggest the Grand Plaza Hotel in St Pete Beach, top of hotel is a spinning restaurant... Rooms are gorgeous, around 150.00 to 200.00 nt.... Cheap Beachside...... Try Travelodge 60-80.00 a nt Treasure Island area. All these hotels are within 20-25 mi from Busch Gardens....
