Beach Hotel near LA?

We would like to end our Disneyland trip with a day/night at the beach before we fly home...any recommendations for a nice hotel on the beach that would be reasonably priced...maybe around $150-$200?

I don't have specifics, but I'd look in Santa Monica on Ocean blvd (assuming you mean LAX?). There are a lot of nice hotels there - and it's not on top of the airport, but you could probably get there in 30 min or so ( plus parking, returning the rental car -and then depends on the time of day for traffic of course).

We ate at the Viceroy the other night (good restaurant) - looked very nice. Kind of trendy - not on the beach side of the road so may be in that price range.

There's a neat pedestrian only shopping area near there called 3rd St Promenade too.
