Beach for the day - hotel room??

Hi,

We are off to Florida on the 9th May we want to go to the beach for the day with the kids (4, 2 & 7 mts) I think St Pete's as know the area etc...do you think a hotel would let us have a room for the day? just with 3 small kids, would be nice to be able to take a break from the sun, change before we head home and maybe even use the pool..also with a 7mts old, need to do bottles and baby food...

Have tired to email a hotel at St Pete's with this query, but never got a response..

Hi nattyk not a lot of help I know but you can book a hotel room for 1 night for as little as £25 - £30 I don't know if you would consider this and just book in for 1 night that way you can ask for an early check in, use the hotel facilities and still stay the night if you want.

Hi, WHEN WE TRAVELLED TO FLORIDA LAST YEAR WE DECIDED TO GO DOWN TO ST PETES FOR THE DAY. IN THE END WE STAYED AT THE HILTON IF I RECALL IT WAS ABOUT 45.00 FOR THE 4 OF US , IT'S IDEALLY SITUATED DID THE JOB AND ALSO WE HAD FREE BREAKFAST.
WE WERE GOING TO BOOK IT DIRECT BUT VIRGIN OFFERED US A PRICE MATCH AND THEN WE GOT SOME OTHER BENIFITS AS WELL INCLUDING A REALLY GOOD DEAL ON BUSH GARDEN TICKETS, OH YES THIS ACTUALLY COUNTED TOWARDS US BEING FREQUENT VIRGINS!!! AS WELL.
ANYWAY SORY I WENT OFF TRACK A LITTLE BUT IT MIGHT BE WORTH DOING THAT, BEST OF LUCK WE WILL BE OUT THERE A WEEK LATER
