Beach for one night near Disney

We are going to be driving down I-75 toward Disney World on Friday evening. We are not staying at our DVC until Sunday night. We thought about driving to the beach and staying Friday and Saturday night and leave Sunday morning. Which beach would be the closest to I-75. How long of a drive is it to Disney?

I'd go over to Clearwater. Its not really close (you can be up to 30 miles from the beach when you're on I-75). But the beaches are very nice. Take I-75 down to I-275 towards Tampa. You'll then follow the signs for State Road 60 and that will take you right in to Clearwater. If thats something you'd be interested in, let me know and I will give you more clear directions, etc. Hope that helps!

Another option is Cocoa Beach/Melbourne Beach. It is about an hour and a half away from Disney though.
