Has anyone written a TR while staying at the Beach Club that they can point my towards? I really want a good trunk at the place I will FINALLY be staying at!!

No but I've stayed there. What do you want to know?

Headlines are.
The pool is great for children.
The fast food in the Beach Club is rubbish in that it is very limited, gets old very quickly. But you are right next to Epcot and lots of great options at the Boardwalk so as long as you're not really lazy re a short walk that's not a massive deal.
Rooms large enough for four comfortably, decent storage space. Pull out beds are not all the same size. If you want an adult size pull out bed be sure to ask at check in. Even then it depends on having a cast member who knows which rooms have which.

It's quicker to find your way through the corridors to get out than going through the back entrance to get to the International Gateway if you are staying in the far part of the resort.

There are service staircases that can cut your walks to the pool considerably if you find them. One pops out very near to the pool entrance. Worth finding it if your room is in that area.

Beaches and Cream gets mobbed. Get there for opening if you're deaperate to eat there.

Good jogging.

Beautiful grounds.

You can walk to DHS easily.

The Beach was riddled with ants the summer we stayed here. Really nasty, crawling with them and stopped us using the beach at all. That was a shame.

Gorgeous lobby.

The hotel shop is a bit average for a deluxe report IMHO.

There is a refillable mug station at the fast food place by the pool.

Access to Epcot is wonderful.

:)

Brilliant thank you. I've been there for Beaches and Cream but that's all and i just don't want to miss a thing!!

I'll be on the pull out bed so definitely good to know they come in different sizes!

I knew you could walk to Epcot, I'm pleased to hear you can walk to DHS and Boardwalk to as I didn't realise that - how long does that take?

We will be in a studio villa - I'm not sure where they are located to know if they are near the corridors?

I stayed in a normal hotel room but am guessing the pull out beds are all full size in the DVC studios. It's 5 to 10 minutes walk to the Boardwalk depending how fast you walk. About 20 to DHS at a stroll. The Beach Club and Yacht Club hotels are actually one large building differentiated by different facades but still one building. The Boardwalk is next to the Yacht Club and they all border Crescent Lake. The Swan and Dolphin are also in this area. You can walk or take a boat or bus to DHS, bus to all the other parks and DTD and walk to International Gateway at Epcot. There is no bus to the front gate of Epcot. It's a lovely place to stay.

We stayed last feb and are going back this oct which is praise enough!

Agree the qs option isn't great but acceptable given the plethora of dining options in Epcot and the boardwalk being so near!

To put your mind at rest we didn't find beaches and cream mobbed or ants on the sand but feb is a different time of year. We will go again this trip but personally I found the food there bland.

Storm along bay is brilliant and by far the best pool on property.

We were right near the Epcot end but would say Epcot was 5/10 mins and the same for the boardwalk. Hs was nearer a 20 minute walk but you have the boat option too.

For me the draws of the hotel are storm along bay Nd the proximity to parks and the boardwalk. You can also get to magic kingdom using the monorail which I enjoy rather than buses.

ENJOY!

If you are in a studio villa you will be in the separate DVC villas building. To get to it you walk down towards the marketplace shop and then do a left and exit and walk outside to the villas. You still check in at the main resort check in desk DVC here doesn't have it's own check in.

To get to Epcot don't go back into the main resort but use the outside path that brings you out closer to Epcot.

The room will have one queen bed and one double sleeper sofa. All rooms are the same.

The vilas pool is nice and usually quiet too.

Check out the Disney Resorts section they have a whole thread on the yacht and beach club.

We've stayed before, loved it, had one of the rooms towards epcot, could see fireworks and it was 5 min walk to International gateway.
Pool is amazing, big but manageable.
Only downside was the food court it is tiny but adequate and depending in where your room is, it can be quite a walk to the pool and busses, if you want a full balcony it's a 50/50 but everything else is great. The boat to DHS and being able to walk round the boardwalk, so many food options, we ate in epcot most nights, being able to walk back to your hotel from a park at the end of the night is priceless!!! You can even walk throught the swan/dolphin and play mini golf at Fantasia. A bit further is the Hess station where you can get food and drink supplies if you've not got a car. Speaking of cars, we hired a car for a few days, pre booked it and walked over to the dolphin to collect it, so easy.
Pool games every day, movies on the beach with toasted marshmallows. It truly is a wonderful resort. We are going back next year. I wanted to try WL but not sure I can leave the BC.
