When my family is in WDW this September, it will be my parents 17th aniversity. My dad is going to set a little something up for my mom there, but he doesn't know what. He is leaving it up to me on calling the Beach Club. I was wondering if they do something special for aniversitys?

Pretty much they do whatever you want to pay for. If you mention it, they may or may not send a greeting to the room. Please be aware that this is totally random, many folks have been getting bent out of shape lately because bells, whistles and a happy birthday singing Stevie Wonder have not been present for their special occasion.
If you definitely want a cake, flowers , ballons or any thing else it would be probably be best to purchase it. Outside of a wishing them a "Happy anniversary" they may or maynot recieve any thing.

Look into the Illuminations Cruise... It is wonderful... It goes out right by your resort... This would be very special!!!
