beach club villas

Looking into possible of buying points for a stay at the beach club villa in november/december 2004. Kind of unsure about it as it is my first time looking into it. Would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has gone through this process on how it worked out! Looks like we would need about 278 pts.

Just to clarify your request. Are you looking to rent points from a member for a one time use or are you looking into buying a full membership which will renew each year?

Either way, if you are renting or buying...availability will probably be very slim for that time of year. If you are renting, I would suggest checking into that asap. Find a person to rent from (check the rent/trade board), and have them check availability asap. If your heart is set on BCV, you might be disappointed by what is available. If you are willing to go to any DVC resort, you might find something. If you are buying DVC, don't base your decision to buy solely on availablility of BCV in Dec. of this year. Buy for the many years to come...and have a back up place to stay if you cannot get into BCV (although you could waitlist there).

For that time of year, you better finalize your arrangements for points soon. It's a popular time to go, and especially at the Epcot resorts! Renting points is not hard....it goes very smoothly. You have a confirmation letter/number and you pay the member. I have yet to hear of any major problems.

As far as BCV goes....great choice. Beautiful rooms, nice proximity, and fabulous pool.
