Which would you choose and why?

We stayed at BCV in August and loved it. Great location, room, SAB, theming everything. We're thinking about another August trip and are torn between the BCV and trying BWV which we've never stayed at before.

Our kids will be 7 and 6 when we travel.

Thanks :goodvibes

I love BOTH!

I love the views of Cresent Lake that the Boardwalk rooms offer. I also love SAB and the closeness to Epcot that the Beach Club offers.

BWV

  • Lively atmosphere: ¼-mile Atlantic city Boardwalk midway
  • Well-themed pool (Luna Park) with 200-ft Keister Coaster water slide
  • Boardwalk location (lots of activity - street performers, games, nightlife)
  • Boardwalk view offers great view of Crescent lake
  • Ten-minute walk to Epcot; 15-minute walk to DHS
  • Boat launch to DHS and Epcot
  • Room service and valet parking
  • Great restaurants (Flying Fish Café and Spoodles)
  • Community Hall with lots of activities for children
BCV (2002)

  • Location! Just a few minutes walk to Epcot!
  • 2nd smallest DVC resort at WDW
  • Stormalong Bay: 3-acre mini-water park (the best feature pool at WDW!)
  • Close proximity to the Boardwalk resort area
  • Onsite character breakfast (Cape May Café)
  • Sandy "beach" on Crescent Lake
  • Valet parking and room service
  • Good onsite restaurants (including Yachtsman Steakhouse)
  • Beaches & Cream Soda Shop
  • Boat service to DHS and Epcot
  • Mid-Atlantic "nautical" theme

While both are good, I give the edge to BCV for a two reasons; SAB and the slightly shorter walk to Epcot.

I like the themeing and dining options better

At which one?

Another question - how is the pool/slide at BWV? My kids aren't quite up for the big slide at SAB and I think by next year they'll have outgrown the little slide behind the SAB slide.

Sorry, I like BC better than BW

good info thanks...Im looking at a BCV.

We aren't pool people, so SAB doesn't have a draw for us. BWV is my favorite of the two. I don't think you can go wrong with either.
